Lou Stine

Lou LOVES color, and her vivid art work definitely shows that!  She enjoys painting in oil and acrylic.  Here's an introduction to her artistic journey:

"Since I have some new followers, allow me to introduce myself.

I’m a retired school counselor who is living the dream on beautiful Table Rock Lake in southwest Missouri. I have dabbled in all kinds of creative things throughout my life, but I was a late bloomer when it comes to painting, not starting until my late forties. Now I’m making up for lost time!

My favorite things to paint are bright colorful florals, but regardless of what I’m painting, the common thread is my slightly abstracted, perfectly imperfect style.

I’m easily distracted by all the new and shiny things, so I’m always trying something new that grabs my attention. I enjoy exploring and experimenting with new techniques and ideas, and even when I don’t love the outcome, I enjoy the creative process. For me that’s what it’s all about...learning and enjoying it!

When I’m not painting, I enjoy traveling with my sweetie in our motorhome, and soaking up nature and my surroundings here at the lake.

Thanks for following along on my art journey!"
