I studied drawing and painting with private teachers and art teachers, and enjoyed studios and galleries in the United States and Europe.  Everywhere I went in Europe I saw the work of master artists in every medium, especially in stained glass. I believe that is where I developed a love of working with glass.

 

My art is a product of my skills and affinity for science, technology, math, and my love of stained glass.  Since I worked professionally in the engineering sciences, creativity brought joy to my time outside of the workplace. Now that I have recently retired, I cherish meeting patrons of the arts, surrounding myself with artist friends, and creating original artworks to my heart's content.  My greatest joy in art is drawing a design and then bringing it to life in glass. 

 

My glassworks are designs utilizing fused glass, stained glass and mosaics.  I hope you will enjoy how light interacts with my glasswork.
