Jan Rosenburg
A Missouri native who works predominately in watercolor, has expanded her visions into 3-D art through jewelry making and silk scarf canvases. In the early years, photography was predominately used to capture a memory that she would later paint. However, it has now became a medium in its own right within her portfolio. Primarily a self-taught artist, Janice studied watercolor in St. Louis under the tutelage of Louise Jackson and Zoltan Szabo .  Later, after moving to the Ozarks, Jan enjoyed the workshops of Tony Couch and Tom Lynch Janice feels art is her inspiration that fills her with wonder and contentment. "There is always another way of looking at something." To share her love of art, she is now an art instructor. Her personal gift from a new student is when they have that "aha" moment and understands their art in a new and profound way.  As an active member in the Table Rock Art Guild, Janice has held the positions of President, 2 years and Director of the Table Rock Art Gallery, 4 years. Currently her work may be seen at this gallery.
